President
By The Yard Landscaping was founded in 1983 by Calvin with one goal in mind: deliver honest, high-quality landscaping services that homeowners can rely on. What started as a small local operation has grown into a trusted name in the community through decades of hard work, consistency, and pride in every job.
With over 40 years of hands-on experience, Calvin still believes in doing things the right way — showing up on time, communicating clearly, and treating every property as if it were his own.
Duncan Seaman JR
Director of operations
Working side by side with his father, Duncan helps lead daily operations, client communication, and project management for By The Yard Landscaping. From job site coordination to behind-the-scenes planning, he plays a key role in ensuring every project runs smoothly and meets the company’s high standards.
As the next generation of leadership, Duncan is focused on combining the company’s long-standing values with modern systems, efficiency, and customer experience — helping By The Yard continue to grow while staying true to its roots.
